Donald R. Schmitt is a prominent researcher of the alleged crash and recovery of a UFO and its extra terrestrial occupants in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947. Mr. Schmitt believes that there was indeed a crash in Roswell, NM and that the UFO and the extra terrestrials that piloted it were recovered by the United States military.  He suggests that the military went to great lengths to cover-up the crash by any means necessary - even threatening violence.Mr. Schmitt's educational background includes studies in Criminology and Sociology with degrees from M.A.T.C and Concordia University. Schmitt has worked with Dr. J. Allen Hynek and has investigated more than 300 separate UFO reports throughout the United States. He has served as technical consultant on several documentaries including The UFO Enigma, A Report On UFOs; The History Of UFOs; UFO Secret: The Roswell Crash; UFOs: Uncredited Field Of Science, and the ShowTime movie Roswell. Mr. Schmitt has co-authored two books on his findings on the Crash at Roswell: The Truth About the UFO Crash at Roswell and UFO Crash at Roswell.
